About Me

A woman with brown hair and sunglasses on her head smiling while holding a glass of white wine outdoors, with a wooden wall and blurred greenery in the background.

I’m Pooja, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 10 years of experience across skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, outpatient clinics, disability centers, and community health programs. My passion lies in helping people thrive through personalized, evidence-based nutrition care. Working with diverse patient populations has taught me the importance of empathy, balance, and meeting each person where they are. Based in Lodi, California, I love combining my background in science and nutrition with my creativity and curiosity—especially when it comes to exploring opportunities that connect health, innovation, and wellness.

My love of wine started when I was 15, sparked by curiosity about flavor, food, and culture. After moving to San Joaquin County in 2020, everything aligned—time, place, and opportunity—and I took a leap into the wine world. I started working in a tasting room, trained by some of the best in the industry, and discovered a deep joy in sharing the art and science of wine with others. Six years later, I’m thriving in this space and proud to have earned my California Wine Appellation Specialist (CWAS) certification. I’m now finding ways to blend my wine knowledge with my nutrition and wellness expertise to create meaningful, enjoyable experiences.

My journey took a turn when I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis after years of persistent pelvic pain and inconclusive ultrasounds. That diagnosis—and my path through surgery and recovery—changed my perspective and strengthened my purpose. Now, I share my experiences to help others feel seen, supported, and empowered. By raising awareness and offering practical tips for management and self-care, I hope to make living with endometriosis a little less isolating for others.

My approach centers on balance, support, and holistic wellness. I believe food, wine, and health can beautifully coexist. Explore my site to discover a blend of insights—from wine education and food pairings to wellness guidance and nutrition tips. My goal is to help you nurture both body and soul while celebrating life’s delicious moments. So, raise your glass to good health, joyful living, and absolutely delish wine!
